Inspired by the composer's mother, this original tune reflects her love for the elegant twin palms that dot the Egyptian landscape. intertwining twin palms are iconic to Egyptian identity, and they function as an emblem of the Twin Land - the union of Upper and Lower Egypt. The relationship between a set of twin palms also connotes the intimacy siblings, lovers and dearest friends. In communion with one another, they share resources, shade each other from the elements and comfort one another with their presence.
