You Are My Refuge

This stunningly expressive work was commissioned for a vast number of high school choir programs forced to cancel concerts due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Inspiring and reflective, the rich harmonies capture a sense of poignancy and of hope. An optional descant soars above the choir, adding a sense of expansiveness: "Your voice brings hope!" The Virtual Learning Bundle is compatible with both the a cappella SATB version and the accompanied SATB version.

 

This Virtual Learning Bundle was designed to provide you with all of the tools needed to easily facilitate online choral instruction and performance for up to 100 singers. Each bundle includes: part-dominant rehearsal MP3s with real voices; an accompaniment MP3; a demonstration performance MP3; a PDF Learning Guide and lesson with questions linked to Core Curriculum standards; a video from the composer with background information, rehearsal tips, and related warm-ups; a mechanical license to distribute the audio tracks to your local ensemble; a synchronization license to combine video and audio for virtual performances; a streaming license for one year (non-revenue generating); and a display-only license to share legal octavos with your Google Classroom or similar (the proper number of octavos for your ensemble must be purchased separately).
