A playful three‑movement suite takes young band performers on a musical visit to the zoo, portraying lions, flamingos, and monkeys. The outer movements use simple quarter- and eighth‑note rhythms contrasted by a lyrical waltz in 3/4 at the center. Flexible programming allows one, two, or all movements to be performed.
