Accelerated Rock'n'Rollin' is designed for the beginning drummer in ages
  13 and up, and even adults! The book is a combination of levels 1 and 2 which
  dives straight into reading music on the simplified staff with the
  abbreviations on circles (notes and moves students through reading drum music
  on the staff, learning note values, time signatures, and dynamics. In this
  book, patterns are called solos.
    
    
    
    There are also a hand full of composing activities throughout the book. Remember
  that students should not be rushed through the book, and it is completely
  okay to keep students working on a certain section or pattern for a few weeks
  at a time until theyre comfortable.
    
    
    
    To make sure theyre playing with accuracy, start off each pattern around
  60bpm. You can adjust the tempo from there as they learn the patterns.
    
    
    
    The book flows in the following order:
    
    -Introduce the Instruments on a simplified 3-line staff.
    
    
    
    -Moves to a traditional 5-line staff.
    
    
    
    -Introduce notes as quarter notes on the staff, and changes cymbals to
  cross notes.
    
    
    
    -Introduce Half Notes and Rests, Whole Notes and Rests, and Dotted half
  notes.
    
    
    
    -Introduce Rudiments and Stickings: From Book 2, ROCKNRUDIMENTS readies
  students to learn and play simple stickings in 4/4 and 3/4 times using
  Quarters, Whole, Halfs, and Eighth notes. These rudiments can be used for
  fills, and can be revisited later on. 
    
    
    
    -Introduces beamed 8th notes (2 sounds in 1 beat.)
    
    Introduces Forte and Piano dynamics.

5 Short Songs for December: Winter Holidays!

Through the MINI MUSIC books, students are introduced to various concepts
  through composition. In Book 1, students write 38 short songs through given
  sets of notes on the Piano which leads up to learning 5-finger scales of C
  and G Major, and A and D Minor. This book is set up for students to write out
  notes in boxes, which represent beats. Boxes come in sets of 8, 16, and 24 as
  to give them a good variety of lengths and to prevent overwhelm. 
    
    
    
    There is also a good mix of titled and untitled songs. Most all songs give
  students prompts to give them inspiration before writing, and some include a
  blank title for students to come up with their own. Creativity is the goal
  here, and students should enjoy the composing process. This book gives
  students a chance to do so, in small chunks so you can fit them in lessons!

You need your students to learn their Music Alphabet, and fast, and it
  needs to be interactive...and you need to integrate technology...whew, that's
  a lot! You've found a great product that rolls the Music Alphabet into a

  is suggested for the longevity of the pages, or you can print multiple pages
  on a sheet for exit tickets, worksheets, and more! The full-color background
  pages are great for projecting on whiteboards, online lessons, and other
  digital uses! This product is reproducible, so you can make as many copies as
  you wish.
    
    
    
    Playing the game is as simple as set up! Each page has a note in the
  middle, and students must think of the note that comes before and after the
  given note. Then, the correct note is written into the grey boxes on the left
  and right sides, along with the note name. You can play this in a private lesson
  setting, or as a whole class! Since this is a flashcard-type game, you can
  play this for as long as needed, say for a bell-ringer, or for those last
  five minutes of the class.
    
    
    
    Bonus Gameplay: For a twist on the game, you can have students practice
  intervals and think of 3rds, 4ths, 5ths, etc instead of 2nds or steps as the
  game is set up for. This would be a great way for students to learn and
  practice the circle of 5ths and circle of 4ths.

Introducing the Rock'N'Rollin' For Preschoolers book from ZS Music Publishing. Rock'N'Rollin' For Preschoolers is a precursor to the Rock'N'Rollin' Level 1 to prepare the younger drummer for their music career.

Rock'N'Rollin' For Preschoolers is a scaffolded book that starts off by teaching Bass Drum and adds on instruments throughout the book. The book is designed for junior drum sets with the idea that these drum sets may or may not have three Tom Drums to accommodate all kinds of sets.

Students will gradually learn the instruments one by one and together. The layout of the concepts are:

Sticks
Bass Drum
Snare Drum
High Tom
Mid Tom
Low Tom
Ride Cymbal (referred to "Cymbal" in the book).
Hi-Hats

Upon completion of the book, students can graduate up to Rock'N'Rollin' Level 1 or Level 1 Encore. If students move to Level 1 Encore, the back of the book is a section to prepare students for Level 1 Encore if they skip Rock'N'Rollin Level 1. For this section, there are 8 pages that have been pulled from Rock'N'Rollin Level 1.

In total, there are 33 "songs" in the book along with activities scattered through our including 4 pages for students to create their own beats.
