Band On the Green is the second work in our new FLEX SCORE EDITION. This Grade 2+ Edition is based on the original work written for the NBPS District Band Program in New Brunswick, NJ. Although this piece uses mainly the first octave of notes and simple quarter and eighth notes in the winds, along with sixteenth note combinations in percussion, this piece still uses the standard march form. This is a great piece to teach young students about the Concert March.
This fully adaptable edition allows you to create unique instrument groupings within the instrumentation you already have. This gives you the opportunity to play the piece effectively and musically, even if you do not have a full band available to you. Strings parts (Edited by Mr. Alexandre Soares) are also included for an opportunity to form a flexible symphony orchestra. Finally, all student parts contain a QR code to be able to practice along with a click track and a full performance track via YouTube! Flex our first march this concert season!
