"Hate Is Not Stronger" displays the hope of what can be, the melancholy of what is, and the tension that arises from holding both at the same time. Lasting approximately five and a half minutes (~5:30 min.), "Hate Is Not Stronger" floats and pounds with both simple and technically demanding passages before culminating with a somewhat furious and bombastic ending that echoes into the ether. It remains highly melodic and impassioned throughout the entire piece. It is appropriate for a wide variety of contexts, including competitions.
