Whats Ya Got?

Got rhythm? This swinging take on the chord changes from Gershwin's classic I Got Rhythm will is what you're looking for. There's solo space for trumpet and trombone, but this can be opened for any and all - a great teaching tool. A 32-bar sax soli is punctuated by the brass before a second solo space for guitar and/or piano. The ensemble then trades twos with the drums - yet another solo opportunity - before returning to the bridge and shout section. Trumpet range is to written high C, trombone to F.
