This lighthearted, uplifting piece for Brass Ensemble (4 Trumpets, 4 Horns, 3 Trombones, Euph and Tuba), was written for my friend's annual summer get together of Brass playing friends. The tunes and themes reflect the joyousness of a summer music session. It was composed over the course of 2 Days in August so I gave it that name. Then I decided that putting the words Music From the Motion Picture in front of the title would make it sound better! Don't search too hard for the movie though!
