Brazilian Sleigh Bells

This Percy Faith favorite is a delightful and energetic dance-like piece in a samba style. Masterfully scored for handbells, the melody flows throughout with the rhythms and countermelodies supporting it. Two occurrences of fun and challenging descending chromatics feature a simpler ossia section if needed. Many articulations throughout as well as a few perfectly placed LVs and dynamics help make this one really click! It moves right along and has a section that is a bit slower before returning to the original tempo. Optional sleigh bells are suggested but not scored. This is a must-have for your intermediate ensemble!
