Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

This perennial Christmas favorite has been given a fresh, creative setting for handbell solo, piano accompaniment, and optional C-instrument (flute).  It is filled with expression, flowing accompaniment lines, and contrapuntal C-instrument part that is perfect for this score. Mostly rung, a few LS passages and shakes add the perfect interest for the listener. It begins in Eb major with a lovely modulation to E-major leading to an increase and tempo and a bit of excitement before it returns to a lovely, peaceful ending. This is the perfect addition to the handbell soloist's repertoire.
