In this inspired work for cello and chorus (sung in Hebrew) Minsky has included a prayer used in both the Jewish and Christian liturgies, and combined it with the traditional Jewish hymn "Ein Keloheinu". The cello interacts joyfully with the chorus - accompanying, singing and soloing. The work begins with a popular-oriented rhythmical sensibility sure to engage the audience, eventually leading them on a journey in the very essence of holiness! It has an inclusive spirituality and sonority that will appeal to people of all backgrounds.
