This original piece is true to the blues and swing styles throughout. The blues pattern is established in the accompaniment and features upbeat staccatos that may be played at the director's discretion, although the composer prefers ring touch. Extensive use of the high treble bells will be fun for those ringers. The low sixth octave notes are not scored, but directors should feel free to add them as fits their group. It ends with an improvisational section which is scored. All will be whistling or humming the melody long after rehearsal ends.
