The minuet in D Major concludes the book and while on the surface may appear fairly simple, the piece contains a variety of melodic movement between the two hands including contrary, oblique and parallel motion among the voices. Sometimes the motion between voices are by step in one hand and a leap in the the other to further challenge the performer's reading skills.
