Seedlings was composed in 2008 in New York City with only the dream of ever having such a significant work performed. Guitarist Kurt Toriello performed this work in New York City in 2009. As the title implies, these short pieces were composed as a beginning, each thought explored in each movement is an idea that has the potential to grow into something more significant.
