Spirit of the Spirit - A Festival Prelude

A five minute, fanfare style, contemporary concert piece with rhythms that mimic Renaissance festival music. Commissioned in 2013 by the Spirit of Cox Mill Concert Band from Cox Mill High School in Concord, NC. The band premiered the work at the 2013 NCMEA Convention in Winston-Salem in November of 2013. This is a great opening number for any type of concert.
