Publisher Desc.  Douglas DaSilva's "Three Meditations" were inspired by the tones and sounds of disparate forms of meditation: OM by the 1965 John Coltrane recording as much as the sacred syllable in Dharmic religions: Muezzin, by the Muslim call for prayer, and Adoratio-Expatio, by various Catholic prayers. Composed in 2011, the Meditations were premiered by Conway Kuo in New York City on December 10, 2011.
