A Festive Sanctus

This energetic original concert work makes for an ideal opening festival number for younger choirs. The meter shifts back and forth between 3/4 and 6/8 to give a nice sense of movement and drive, while the Latin text is delivered in fanfare-like lines and robust harmony. A contrasting middle section brings in a more subdued texture, building back to a return to the opening material and triumphant finale.
