A Tree of Teas is a piece in which I composed based on how a particular tea tastes to me and how it makes me feel after drinking it. Earl Gray, Rooibos, Oolong, Ginger, and Green teas are the five movements and all have distinctly different flavors from bold tastes, smooth textures, and some even have a “bite” to them.
Part 1: Flute, Oboe/C Trumpet, B-flat Clarinet 1, Trumpet/Soprano Sax (can use cornet), Alto Saxophone 1/E-flat Clarinet, Violin
Part 2: Horns (French, English, and Basset), B-flat Clarinet 2, Alto Clarinet/Alto Sax 2/Tenor (Alto) Horn, Tenor Sax 1, Viola
Part 3: Bassoon/Trombone/Euphonium, Bass Clarinet/Tenor Sax 2, Baritone Sax, Tuba, Violoncello/Double Bass
