Lennie Niehaus wrote a series of terrific arrangements for the Stan Kenton Orchestra (this one was recorded on "The Stage Door Swings" CD. This chart is a medium-swing version of a great Rodgers and Hammerstein tune. It features solo space for tenor saxophone and a short solo for bass. The ranges are quite modest for a Kenton chart, and this could also be played with only 8 brass. 5-5-5-3
