All In!

"All in" is a phrase that has spread from the world of poker becoming widely used to describe anytime you're totally committed to any endeavor. This laid-back funk/rock original from Peter Blair keeps that feel from start to finish with a lot of call and response to teach sectional independence and solid ensemble writing. There are no solos except for drums before the ensemble returns with the melody and ending.  Scored for 5 saxes, 3 trumpets, 2 trombones, guitar, piano, bass, and drums, with optional parts for flute, clarinet, horn in F and tuba. It's very playable yet will sound great with younger jazz musicians!
