Alto this World

Alto this World features the percussion section and also, the alto saxes. Written in a swing style, this piece works on articulation (namely tenuto, staccato, slurs and tonguing) and also playing eighth notes in the above-mentioned swing style). Because the snare part is written for the rim, it feels as if perhaps a tap dancer is accompanying your band in a fun, not-too hard, but not too easy rhythm that students will want to play every day.
