An Oak in the Desert

Commissioned by the Titan Brass Club and Arts Inter-Club Council of California State University, Fullerton, this piece is written in dedication and memoriam to my grandfather and uncle. This work celebrates the Mexican half of my heritage, integrating multiple elements of the Mexican music tradition with my classical training.
