This composition is based on Venezuelan animals and is dedicated to and commissioned by Venezuelan flautist Dr. Nicaulis Alliey. It exists in a version for flute and piano as well as a flute and orchestra version. The flute and orchestra version won second place in the 2014 Tampa Bay Symphony Composition Competition. The five movements are I. Caiman del Orinoco (Orinoco Crocodile) II. Corocora (Scarlet Ibis) III. Guacamaya Tricolor (Tricolor Macaw) IV. Perezosa (Sloth) and V. El Jaguar (Jaguar). The score prints on legal size paper and the parts on letter.
