Assorted Flavors: Solos for Band is not only musically rewarding—it’s fun! Each piece is crafted to be enjoyable and engaging, giving students a sense of accomplishment as they navigate solo performance through a range of difficulties. The selections are lively, colorful, and full of character, inspiring students to explore their own musical voice. As students work through the solos, they naturally develop independence and confidence, learning to express themselves individually while also working together while learning as an ensemble. Directors will find that students are excited to practice and perform these pieces, making rehearsal time more dynamic and enjoyable. With Assorted Flavors, the performance is variable, perform as a section, or individual, with recorded accompaniment or live. They will grow as independent musicians, and have a great time doing it.
