A transcription of Anton Bruckner's beloved Ave Maria — originally written for chorus — reimagined for chamber orchestra with flexible wind parts. Scored for strings, percussion, and winds including flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet, horn, trombone, and tuba, this arrangement is built for the real world of ensemble directing. Optional parts and simplified doublings give you the flexibility to work with whatever players are available, making complete, balanced scoring achievable even with an incomplete instrumentation.

Intermediate in difficulty, the piece moves through three distinct textural layers — lyrical solos, intimate instrumental choir writing, and full ensemble passages — giving your players a musically rich and varied experience while offering directors multiple opportunities to feature individual voices or sections.
