This piece is designed primarily for all-male groups but it may be sung by mixed groups as well. �The title of the piece is based on Proverbs 20:29 from the Old Testament which speaks about the source of strength and wisdom for humanity. �It is written in ABA form (fast. slow, fast). �The A section addresses strength, B, wisdom, and the return of A addresses both strength and wisdom. Part I is to be sung by cambiatas (boys in the first phase of vocal change), but it can just as easily be sung by boy trebles since the range is compatible to both type voices. Boys in the second phase of change will find more success singing Part II (for light adolescent baritones) or Part III (for adolescent baritones and changed voices).
