Charlie Hill's original swinger at around 126 bpm is a straight-ahead blues chart with a catchy melody in the saxes that stays with you. There are no solos, just swinging sectionals and ensemble playing. The set includes optional parts for flute, clarinet, horn in f and tuba. The scoring calls for 5 saxes, 3 trumpets, 2 trombones and 4 rhythm. Accessible and fun!
