This Cantata in D Major, composed from 2022 to early 2024, features a libretto with texts by Salomo Franck (Movements 1, 3-5), St. John 14:23 (Movement 2), and Philipp Nicolai (Movement 6). Comprising six movements, the composition unfolds with a grand orchestral and choral presentation in the first movement, with exception of horns and clarinets. The second movement transitions into a Recitative with tenor and strings, while the third movement is an aria for Soprano II and solo strings. The fourth movement reunites all forces, now including horns and clarinets. The fifth, a Largo lacrimoso, features Soprano I, Alto, Tenor, Bass, and the orchestra, with exception of some instruments. Finally, the sixth movement, a Chorale, engages all instruments and voices, with exception of an independent line for Soprano II, which shall split in half and double with Soprano I and Alto.
