Capriccio Espagnol

Faithful to the original, two of the five Spanish folk melodies from Rimsky-Korsakov's "Capriccio Espagnol" are featured in this arrangement: Alborada, which also includes variations on the theme, and Fandango, with Alborada reprised at the end. It is rung throughout with perfectly placed shakes and mallets plus a few mart lifts, all of which complement the original. The addition of handchimes in one of the lovely variations adds color to the piece, and the optional tambourine and castanets top it off. Your intermediate ensemble will rock this work and audiences will love it!
