An arrangement of Chanson de Nuit, Op. 15, No. 1 for solo Viola and string orchestra or quintet. It was composed by Edward Elgar for violin and piano, and later orchestrated by the composer. Its first publication was in 1897 but it was almost certainly written in 1889 or 1890.
Parts for Viola Solo, Violins 1 and 2, Viola, Violoncello, Double Bass. Extra parts for Violin 3 (viola part) and Violoncello 2 (double bass part). Orchestra parts are AB grade 4/5 level, solo viola part AB grade 5+.
