Conquest

Aggressive and forceful, this work begins with a strong display of wind and percussion writing. The feeling of conflict exists throughout with punctuated brass figures seemingly chased by woodwind lines that alternate between being rhythmically active and flowingly sustained. Very well written, it's musically expressive yet easy to play.
