Do Wars Really End?

Inspired by my fascination with history, this collection of songs uses poetry from different perspectives during World War I. The text comes from philosophers, poets, and even a soldier serving in the war. These songs combine the use of handbell and pre-recorded electronic sounds with a mezzo soprano voice to create a sonic environment of mourning and melancholy as it relates to death that comes with war.
