Dona Nobis Pacem: A Symphony for Concert Band

Ralph Vaughan Williams originally wrote "Dona Nobis Pacem" (Latin: Grant us peace) in 1936 as a cantata in six sections for soprano and baritone soloists, chorus, and large orchestra. Robert L. Anello arranged the cantata as a symphony for concert band comprised of five, contiguous movements, bridged by oboe solos. Each movement musically portrays a different aspect of war.
