Dance: A lively depiction of the deep connection between African culture and the art of dancing. Set at a brisk tempo and filled to the brim with wild syncopation, this is the perfect opener to set the stage for the remainder of the piece. ~ II. Song: An immediate change of pace for the piece that transports the listener to an African rainforest at night. This setting is perfect to lull your audience to sleep before the high-energy finale kicks into effect! ~ III. Battle: Inspired by the tales of ancient African warriors and modern Zulu shield dancers, this setting paints a more aggressive portrait of African culture before bringing the piece to a dramatic close.
