orchestra musicians, and the antique spirit of the music hearkens back almost
500 years. The Dublin Pavan first appeared in a 1570 manuscript, still housed
in the library of Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. It was probably a
keyboard arrangement of a popular song or dance tune of the time.
