An exhilarating concert overture for middle-level band – not often do emerging ensembles have the opportunity to play a Latin-inspired piece in a minor key (G), with a hint of the Dorian mode. This piece will be an excellent addition to any concert and is well suited to contests and festivals. It's perfect for bands with large percussion sections, as it calls for: timpani, bells, chimes, xylophone, suspended cymbal, ride cymbal, crash cymbals, finger cymbals, snare drum, toms, bass drum, and shaker.
