Loome Laute Bord, The Man from the Other Side in Canuck, the mother tongue of the writer Jack Kerouac, transcribes into music the multiple facets of personality that tear the author apart and which he confides in his work. Sur Le Chemin. These different interpretations of reality are symbolized by the work of different modalities and rhythms on the same melodic material which runs through the four guitars, in a minimalist work evoking the language of Steve Reich.
The work was created in 2021 at the Théâtre des Bains Douches in Elbeuf by the quartet Asterion.
