Fugue in G-Dur (Fugue in G Major)

This is the fourth fugal work composed for this ensemble. Much like the preceding fugues, this piece stands in tandem with the lyricism and sweetness that only woodwind instruments can impart. It encompasses subtle nuances and a gentle interplay between the instruments, commencing with the flute that carries the theme reminiscent of my name, as evident from the outset of the score. Having previously composed a fugal work in F, I relinquished the literal inclusion of the theme incorporating my name "Fabio" to align with my overarching goals for this series of compositions for the woodwind quartet. I am exceedingly gratified to have crafted this piece and hope that you find it as appealing as I do.
