  of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, this is a straight forward  march. The piece starts in g minor in the
  first strain and  moves to Bb Major at
  the trio.. Melody shifts between the clarinets and trumpets. A nice march for
  your young group.

Waterspout! is an exciting piece depicting a tornado moving across the gulf. In the opening our storm brews with a m. In the opening our storm brews with a haunting melody, dark clouds in the sky over the water. Driving percussion and accents has out storms crossing the gulf heading toward shore. The melody moves between the brass and woodwinds and storm continues toward land building to an exciting conclusion as out storm lifts back into the clouds just before landfall. A very exciting piece for your young band.

Kool Jam Rock is a straight forward Rock Style tune. Ranges are limited so even the youngest of players can enjoy playing this driving tune. This piece introduces easy syncopation and uses of accents. Ranges have been kept minimal so your young musicians can rock the crowd!

  and accented brass take you on the chase but the animal gets away. The tiger
  looms, pounces  and catches it's prey.

A River City Celebration is a Fanfare with a flare. Opening with percussion leads into our opening celebratory fanfare. The woodwinds take the syncopated melody and then hand it to the brass leading to the restatement of out fanfare with a percussion break leading to our syncopated melody in the trumpets with a woodwind countermelody, The horns and saxes then take that melody as our celebration heads into an exciting conclusion. 
A great concert or festival opener for your band.

A River  City Celebration

Ship Island Excursion depicts an early morning trip to Ship Island, a barrier Island 12 miles off the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The opening has us in a tranquil mood, arriving at the port just after sunrise to board the boat for our trip. Then our journey begins with an exciting journey across the water with accents and syncopated rhythms.  Along the way you may encounter some fish jumping in water in a short, playful woodwind section. The percussion brings us back to a recap of the fast section and into an augmented version of the melody in the low brass. This leads   us to an exciting conclusion where we arrive at our destination for a day of fun in the sun.    An exciting piece for a concert or festival.

Ship Island Excursion

Take a magical voyage into unchartered territory. Our Epic Voyage begins
  with the trumpet melody taking us on our way. 
  Percussion and low brass lead s to a woodwind melody as we enter a
  calm but mysterious area as the woodwinds answered by the brass take us
  further into the unknown. The brass return with the opening statement with a
  woodwind countermelody as we farther into the unknown waters pushing into a
  climactic percussion solo. The second theme returns with the trumpet melody
  and upper woodwind countermelody. The low brass takes their turn as we grow
  closer to our destination There is one final push into our exciting
  conclusion to our Voyage. An exciting work for your young developing band

Epic Voyage

The Roughneck is for all of those folks that do the really tough jobs.  Imagine working on the pipe line, on an oil rig, or constructing a skyscraper. The low brass and percussion sections are used to depict the sounds of workers doing what they do best.  Truly a "Blue Collar "band piece and fun for your young band.

As the late, great Football Coach Mike Leach would say "you have to find your Inner Pirate." Claim your fishing spot on the river and don't give it up.  Our tune begins introducing easy syncopation for your young group with the flutes adding a counter melody. Our woodwinds then bring out the pirate in our piece with the brass answering in a bold way. Our accented percussion leads us to a bold melody from our low brass. We conclude with a return of the opening theme taking us to an exciting conclusion. Wolf River Adventure is a great teaching piece for your young musician and would be a nice addition to your concert or festival.

Part of the Appalachian Mountains, Mount Mitchell is not only the highest point in North Carolina, but
the highest point east of the Mississippi River. As our rugged climb begins, the trumpets take us up the
trail. The woodwinds answer as it seems to get easier, but the brass comes back in as we grow closer to
the summit. As we shift into a major key and we have moved closer to the top and enjoying the
breathtaking beauty of the mountains. We continue on with the low brass takes over and we finally
make the push to the summit .An adventurous tune for your young band!
