This work was arranged by Walter Ehret, one of the most prolific arrangers of choral music in the history of American music education. �Under various pseudonyms (and his own name) he arranged for most of the major publishers over a 50 year period. �He was a pioneer in educational music publishing and a man with great talent. �He was one of the first arrangers to use SAB voicing. �The Polish Carol was initially set for SAB voices, but it has been edited to be suitable for both SAB and SCB. �Those boys whose voices have just begun to change may be happier singing Part II which is better suited to their range. �Optional notes have been added to Part III to accommodate boys for whom the comfortable singing range is either too high or too low.
