I wrote this piece back in the summer of 2021, when one of my friends at the time had given a compostion "challenge" of sorts. They had given me 6 scales at random (non-common scales) and told me to make a piece using only those 6 scales. With that said, the scales I had made me think of something very dark and broody. The tuning is very difficult to do well at all times, and everything in this piece (including the ending) just reminds me of "Hell". Welcome to my "Hellscape!".
