Hopscotch

Hot and energetic, Hopscotch is a funk/hip-hop original with swing eighth notes. The solos can be opened up, and a suggested solo and chord changes are included in the alto 1 part. The solo section is readily accessible for developing soloists with only one chord over a blues scale. This chart features great ensemble writing, cookin' sectionals, and it really starts to groove after the solos all the way to the end. Hopscotch is well written, exciting and highly recommended!
