This arrangement is nice way to introduce the instruments to the audience. The 1st verse has each family of instruments play a phrase to introduce their unique sound. The 2nd verse has the woodwinds playing the verse adding harmony with each phrase, doing the same with the brass on the refrain. The percussion plays along on the 2nd verse as well. The 3rd verse has the band play as a whole, with an obligato part in the flutes, and on the 2nd half of the verse the lower brass and lower woodwinds have the melody. Then on the refrain it's the woodwinds ,then the brass, ending with the whole band. It's a nice change of pace and a lovely way to introduce each instrument of the band.
