Knuckleball Blues

This is a medium swing "blues with a bridge" chart that plays off the unusual nature of a knuckleball's trajectory and flight characteristics. Lots of fun "wobbles" and misdirection bring this hard-swinging chart home in the melody and orchestration. Solo space is provided for tenor sax and trumpet with plenty of backgrounds as well. The trumpet range is to written High C above the staff. A full-bodied shout chorus follows the solos before returning to the bridge and closing tag. Swings hard!
