La Fiesta de San Antonio

This colorful piece consists of three sections that musically describe San Antonio, Texas. After the introduction, the first section represents La Villita, the little village of San Antonio; the second section, El Paseo del Rio, describes the romantic river walk along the San Antonio River. Finally, the third section, El Mercado, the market place, describes the fiery music of the strolling mariachi bands.
