"To be young for too long" is a piece for voice and cello that was commissioned for the Irish Composers' Collective's: Evening of New Chamber Works in June 2023. The text, written by Linda Badgley, describes the complexities of being a young adult in the modern day. The piece aims to both enhance Badgley's words, and be a musical interpretation of them-  expressing the moments of serenity and joy, along with moments of panic and confusion brought on by the ups and downs of a person's early twenties.

here, now, is an open instrumentation piece written for CORVUS, for the 2022 Composing in the Wilderness Backpacking Trip. This piece is a structured improvisation that allows the performers to express themselves while listening to one another, in an environment that is unique to them every time they play it, that they must constantly adapt to. here, now, is an attempt to use music to recreate the connectedness with other people, and freedom to exist in the moment that I experienced during my time in Alaska.

Etched on the walls is a work for solo voice and objects, written for the 2024-2025 Akademie fur Neue Musik program, out:spoken, hosted in Boswil, Switzerland. The content of the piece comes from a former Gestapo Headquarters that has been converted and preserved into a museum in Cologne, Germany. When the building was still in use as a headquarters, the basement had a few prison cells, to hold prisoners of war. The people imprisoned there carved messages into the walls, which have been preserved and translated, and are highlighted in the basement of the now museum. Etched on the walls uses four of the texts, scratched into the walls by four different people, as the four movements of the work.
