Let The Word of Christ

A Scripture song, Col. 3:15-16, a New Testament lesson and an admonition to new Christians. SATB with piano accompaniment, guitar chords and features an accompaniment part for hammer dulcimer. Written in a meditative style and appropriate for general worship, the hammer dulcimer adds a noticable dimension to the music. The dulcimer is a folk instrument that has gained notable status and capable players can be found in almost every community. (Could be played on mandolin, or even a piano.) The range of the vocal parts is comfortable though the rhythms may be somewhat challenging, its appropriate for a slightly above average volunteer choir. The hammer dulcimer part is included in the score, and it is also broken out, all on one page. It would require an Intermediate to Advanced dulcimist.
