Light Workers

This music is dedicated to people who help, whether they be teachers, health professionals, safety personnel or therapists. They can bring light when we seem to face darkness. These dedicated individuals help us navigate and keep us safe in a complex world. The repeated eighth notes throughout represent the constant march toward healing and light. The optimistic themes inspire us to capture the light and be grateful. We can learn to pay it forward. The music is in the key of D major, a comfortable key for young players, but will challenge students to play the C# below the tonic: high 3 on G violins and violas! an extension cellos and basses!
