Magnificat

Here is a fresh, new a cappella setting of the Magnificat, by composer Guy Forbes. Opening with an extended section for women's voices singing, "My soul doth magnify the Lord," the music exudes the true joy of this text. The men's voices later join with the women singing, "He hath showed strength with his arm." Although this is a medium-advanced piece, your experienced vocalists will feel extremely satisfied for their extra efforts. Magnificat is a truly magnificent work and delivers a powerful yet sensitive treatment of Mary's Song of Praise.
