Orchard in Bloom

In this innovative work, the choir paints the bucolic scene with vocal illustrations: buzzing like bees, singing quasi-overtones, and emulating wind sounds. Otherwise a cappella harmonies are supplemented with an obbligato viola part that mimics buzzing and bird calls.
